West Seattle Blog… | Subject: RITROVO: Food warehouse worker with some office duties

Do you like working in the food industry but are tired of working in restaurants? Love working in a warehouse, but tired of commuting to the Kent-Auburn Valley?

Come work at Ritrovo!

We are an award-winning importer and wholesaler of premium Italian culinary specialties. We ship anywhere in the United States and Canada.

We are looking for a full-time individual to add to our small but dedicated warehouse team and perform some associated clerical duties. We will also consider part-time candidates.

The warehouse is where incoming containers are received, bailed, and product is organized. Orders are then pulled, packed and shipped. We pack boxes to ship via UPS, and we stack and pack pallets to ship LTL. This job requires attention to detail and a strong sense of security. You must also be able to lift 30 pounds. regularly, and up to 80 lbs. sometimes. The warehouse team is on their feet almost all day on a concrete floor. Knowledge of shipping software and QuickBooks is a plus. Forklift skills would also be helpful.

Primary office duties relate to maintaining accurate availability of our products on the Faire wholesale platform, monitoring the flow of orders from the Faire platform, as well as working on various spreadsheets and documents related to the import activity, as required. There might also be support tasks related to our social media presence.
