AIR QUALITY ALERT: The regional wildfire smoke alert keep on going.

TRAFFIC ALERTS: Of SDOT:

-As a member of Reconnect West Seattle On the program, this weekend we will implement six Vision Zero projects, aimed at improving the visibility of intersections. Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will be working primarily from the parking lane and will keep traffic flowing in all directions through these intersections. Please anticipate minor delays when traveling in the region. We will paint and display curb bulbs in the following locations:

2nd Ave SW and Olson Pl SW
35th Ave SW and SW Brandon St
8th Ave SW and SW Barton St
8th Ave S and S Rose St
8th Ave S and S Southern St
7th Ave S and S Donovan St

GARDEN CONTEST: Longtime residents leaving West Seattle want to give back before they go, so from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in their backyard (4843 42nd SW) they’re donating garden books, tools, pots, ornaments, plants, pipes. , more.

WEST SEATTLE FARMERS MARKET: 10am-2pm, the market is open with autumn products but also flowers, cheese, fish, meat, bakery, condiments, ready meals… Here is the list of today’s suppliers. California SW between Oregon and Alaska.

OKTOBERFEST IN OUNCES: From noon to 8 p.m., it’s the last day of the festivities – food, beer, music, games. See the program here. (3809 Delridge Way SW)
