Sally Abé has appointed Maciej Lesiewicz as restaurant manager of The Pem, her signature restaurant at Conrad London St. James in Westminster.
Lesiewicz brings his experience in fine dining and Michelin-starred restaurants, having spent the last eight years working in renowned restaurants in London after moving to the capital from Rome, where he grew up after moving from Poland at a very young age.
He began his career in London at Outlaw’s at The Capital under Nathan Outlaw, before moving to two Michelin-starred The Square in Mayfair. From 2016-2020 he worked with Jason Atherton at his collection of restaurants including Pollen Street Social, Little Social and at the five star Biltmore Hotel.
Speaking of his latest move, Lesiewicz said: “I think The Pem are exceptional and I’m incredibly proud to have joined the team and to be able to work alongside an incredible chef like Sally Abé. I truly pride myself on personal service and look forward to meeting all of our guests and giving them the full Pem experience.”
Sally Abé said of her new restaurant manager: “All of us here at The Pem are very happy to have Maciej starting with us.
“He comes from a great background with a very impressive resume, and I know the restaurant and our guests will be in good hands with him.”
General Manager Emma Underwood has now left The Pem to pursue new opportunities.
