Restaurant Review: Agave Cocina in the Oak Forest

If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy great Mexican food, try Agave Cocina in Oak Forest. The food is phenomenal. The costs are affordable. And the restaurant is clean and beautifully designed with plenty of seating, quick service and plenty of parking

There are plenty of restaurants serving Mexican food, but one of my new favorites is Agave Cocina and Tequila Bar at 6050 W. 159th Street in Oak Forest, Illinois.

The restaurant is immaculate and very clean and the tables are beautiful, covered in colorful, Mexican designer tiles. But if the restaurant is perfect inside, the food is even better.

We had the guacamole to start with fries and dip, then ordered dinner of 3 tacos, beef, with rice and beans. The meat was thick and flavorful and everything was fresh.

The full dinner for two is just $36, which makes it even more enjoyable, especially when other Mexican restaurants in, say, Orland Park can cost upwards of $65 for two.

Service at Agave Cocina was also attentive but not intrusive.

You have to give them a try. They have plenty of room in the dining room and plenty of parking out front.
