Mowgli Street Food will open in Preston city center this summer.

The popular Indian channel will launch in what was once French Connection at Miller Arcade on Monday, July 11.

Reservation lines will open in June.

The news was announced on Mowgli’s Instagram, with much excitement from followers.

@chicken_tikka97 said, “I can’t wait! It will be dangerous.

@elizabethbamber commented, “Can’t wait. Been waiting for this for ages,” while @jillysinkinson added, “OMG! It’s here!”

Mowgli owner Nisha Katona, born in Lancashire, announced in September that the chain would come to the town despite the failure of a previous plan to open in St George’s shopping centre.

In January plans were lodged with Preston City Council to alter the exterior of the Grade II listed property.
