in Events, Updates, Press by Stephanie Duscha

Our very first participation in a major trade fair is behind us. We presented ourselves for the first time with our own stand at the SMM (Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology trade fair) in Hamburg. Here is our conclusion.

The FleetMon team says thank you!

Prior to the launch of SMM, FleetMon and Navisense were invited to the exclusive AIS Creator dinner at the Eppendorfer Insel restaurant on Monday. We took the opportunity to bring together AIS industry leaders and experts to discuss current trends and developments. In a relaxed atmosphere, with cold drinks and a large barbecue, all participants had the chance to exchange and network after a two-year break.

The AIS Creators Dinner was a great success.

Thank you for accepting our invitation and for making the AIS Creator Dinner such a fantastic evening.

SMM 2022 kicks off in Hamburg

Tuesday was the day. The SMM 2022 has opened its doors. The FleetMon team settled on its stand 442 in hall B6. Under the motto Ocean Freight Visibility, FleetMon CEO Lars Brandstäter, Business Development Manager Darren Caldwell, Research & Development Manager Carsten Hilgenfeld and Sales Manager Adrian Barnes presented the latest rates and packages as well as the exceptional products of FleetMon.

Lars Brandstater: “We used the SMM as an opportunity to finally meet friends and customers again in person after the forced two-year break due to corona, as well as to make new contacts. The personal exchange is and remains simply indispensable .

We were extremely proud of the visit of State Secretary Hendrik Schulte. He attended our booth on Wednesday and gave us the chance to introduce FleetMon as the world leader in vessel tracking and marine data provision.

Fltr: Sven Zylla (State Chancellery Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), André Neumann (FleetMon), State Secretary Hendrik Schulte, Lars Brandstäter (FleetMon), Carsten Hilgenfeld (FleetMon), Katrin Caldwell (Maritime Cluster Northern Germany e. V .) and Gesine Kröpelin (Ministry of Economy).

The SMM was an excellent opportunity for FleetMon to present itself at the world’s largest exhibition for the maritime industry. The number of visitors to our stand exceeded our expectations. We met many existing customers in person, had great conversations, and learned a lot about new products and industry innovations. Additionally, we’ve shared insights with other experts on what’s happening in the industry. For example, we learned how manufacturers are handling supply issues in the current situation. And above all, we were able to win many new partners. Thank you to everyone who visited us and wanted to know more about FleetMon.
