The Women’s Institute Lancashire Federation annual county show returns to Garstang after a three-year hiatus.
Hundreds of exhibits will be on display at the Rainbow-themed Crafts and Products Show at the Best Western Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club.
Attendees will enter the foyer under an arch of over 700 handmade pom poms in the colors of the rainbow, made by members of Whitechapel and Inglewhite Women’s Institute.
Five halls in the hotel will hold exhibits of varying ages, starting just three years old. They will include art, honey, handicrafts, cooking, sugar crafts, creative writing, flower arranging and horticulture.
Each year, the public is invited to vote in one category, the Betty Sanderson Memorial Trophy. For 2022, attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite witch in the Gathering of Witches exhibit. The winner will be announced at the end of the show.

A spokesperson for the Women’s Institute said: ‘This crafts and products fair is probably one of the best in the country with exquisitely beautiful exhibits, some of which you may never have seen previously.
“It’s a day full of wonder and surprise for all ages and, after having been around once, take the opportunity to rest in the restaurant for a meal or a snack. Another walk through the rooms is recommended as you are guaranteed to have missed something!”
The LFWI Craft and Produce Show will take place at the Best Western Garstang on Wednesday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is £5.
