Annette E. Allman, 58, of Lewes, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 15, 2021, after a fierce battle with breast cancer.
Annette was born January 3, 1963, at Milford Memorial Hospital, the daughter of Joyce and James (Howard) Adkins Jr., and graduated from James H. Groves High School. Annette has been the manager of McDonald’s, Arby’s and Burger King restaurants for most of her life. In her later years, she enjoyed being with family and friends, volunteering at the Lewes-Rehoboth Moose Lodge, advocating for breast cancer awareness, and attending country concerts.
She is survived by her mother, Joyce (Phillips) Adkins; daughters Elizabeth (Lizz) Allman of Lewes and Jacqueline (Jacky) Allman of Milford; grandsons Cohen Bonneville and wife Gabrielle Renzi; Damian Jewell of Milford; his Moose family; and countless other family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her dad, James H. Adkins Jr. of Lewes.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 23, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Lewes-Rehoboth Moose Lodge, 28971 Lewes Georgetown Hwy., Lewes.
