A former takeaway van employee described as a ‘dream worker’ has started a new job at a sandwich shop in Ashton-on-Ribble.
Jess Smith, who previously worked at The Green Frog in Mariners Way near Preston Docks, now runs Westwood’s, a sandwich bar next to Declan’s Barbershop in Fylde Road, opposite Just Citroen Preston.
Westwood’s, located at 257 Fylde Road, is open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and serves full English breakfasts, cold sandwiches, toast, jacket potatoes, soups, pies and other dishes.

She wrote: “Well, I never thought I would write this status, to be honest, and I’m really disgusted to have to write this.
“If you know me, you know The Green Frog has been my life, for a very long time – 18 years.
“I’ve created so many amazing happy memories with a special group of people, the people I’ve worked with and the people I’ve worked for.”
